Hello, My Name is Kimberly Merritt-Barrett. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia with over 12 years of experience. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology; Masters's Degree in Community Counseling; Specialist Degree in Education. I have a background in the following areas: Mental Health, School Counseling (career), Individual Counseling, Group Counseling, and Family Counseling. I can help bring personal awareness to individuals by presenting a warm environment where comfort is expected. I have experience working with individuals in the following areas: relational issues, career choices (high school level), ADHD, emotional and social anxieties, parental issues, etc. Respect and Compassion are my presenting strengths and Cognitive Behavioral and Person-Centered Therapy are my approaches. Common client/therapist dialogue is the way I would like to meet the needs of individuals. To realize help is needed and to seek that needed help speaks volumes of your willingness to make a change.
